What We Do

Three ways we bring the outdoors closer.

Every Valley Adventure Foundation program falls into one of three pillars: Learn, Play, and Steward. Together they build outdoor confidence, community, and a habit of caring for the land.

The Valley I grew up in is surrounded by some of the most beautiful land in the country, but a whole generation of kids has never hiked it, camped in it, or planted anything in it. We started VAF to change that — one Saturday, one trail, one family at a time.

Our Mission

The outdoors shouldn't be a luxury.

The Central Valley is surrounded by some of the most beautiful land in California, yet a whole generation of kids and families has never hiked a trail, slept under stars, or planted a tree.

We're building a foundation that pairs guided outdoor experiences with hands-on skills — so that time outside becomes normal again, not exotic. The way it was meant to be.
